Abstract

Poromas are benign adnexal tumors that arise from the intraepidermal portion of sweat gland ducts. While most poromas exhibit classic eccrine differentiation, cases with sebaceous differentiation are exceptionally rare. 1, 2 We report a unique case of a poroma with sebaceous differentiation in an elderly-aged patient, highlighting its clinical and histopathological features. This case underscores the importance of recognizing sebaceous differentiation in poromas to avoid misdiagnosis and ensure appropriate management.
