The common Gram-negative pathogenic bacterium Acinetobacter baumannii is can result in severe illnesses and is resistant to a variety of drugs.. Women who are of childbearing age are affected by polycystic ovary syndrome, which can present with a variety of symptoms. Insulin resistance is a result of hormonal and metabolic issues that affect women and can develop to type 2 diabetes. Since individuals with diabetes or insulin resistance are known to have compromised immune systems, the body becomes an ideal habitat for a variety of microorganisms, including Acinetobacter baumannii. Objective of this review is to demonstrate the antibiotic resistance of acinetobacter baumannii with polycystic ovary syndrome
