Abstract

Background and Objectives: A fall is an incidence which is highly injuriousto an elderly person which may cause varied conditions such as soft tissue injuries or fractures. Balance is a component which is maintains a person’s position such that which avoids falls and prevents injury. Hence the objective of the present study was to check the efficacy of the combined balance protocol on young elderly individuals.  Methodology: 58 participants were included in the study and their pre and post assessments of Falls efficacy scale and timed up and go tests were taken.  Results: After Data analysis the results were highly significant for both falls efficacy and timed up and go tests.  Conclusion: The Combined balance training protocol is highly effective in falls prevention and balance enhancement of young elderly individuals.
