Abstract
Background and Objectives: A fall is an incidence which is highly injuriousto an elderly person which may cause varied conditions such as soft tissue injuries or fractures. Balance is a component which is maintains a person’s position such that which avoids falls and prevents injury. Hence the objective of the present study was to check the efficacy of the combined balance protocol on young elderly individuals. Methodology: 58 participants were included in the study and their pre and post assessments of Falls efficacy scale and timed up and go tests were taken. Results: After Data analysis the results were highly significant for both falls efficacy and timed up and go tests. Conclusion: The Combined balance training protocol is highly effective in falls prevention and balance enhancement of young elderly individuals.
