Abstract

Creative industry as an important role in the progress and development of the Indonesian economy. One way used to face global competition is by implementing a business strategy through the canvas business model. This model is one of the bridges in improving and creating innovation in existing business systems. The problem of alternative business strategies also occurs in the MSME Mr Wardiyan Tofu Factory. This study aims to identify the criteria for sustainable businesses that have been run, analyze the quality of products provided to consumer satisfaction, and propose alternative business strategies to the MSME Mr Wardiyan Tofu Factory. The results of the study show that the main strength of the MSME Mr Wardiyan Tofu Factory lies in the design of the tofu product size that can be requested which gets a score of 0.56, while its main weakness is in the section Having a place to make tofu products which gets a score of 0.44. The main opportunity for the MSME Mr Wardiyan Tofu Factory is to increase sales online via Google Maps or directly to each market which gets a score of 0.48, while the main threat is that the fluctuating inflation rate can affect the purchasing power of raw materials in the tofu product production process, namely soybeans which gets a score of 0.11. Based on the results of the SWOT and QSPM analysis, the proposed alternative strategies include adding innovations to product additions, implementing government training programs to improve business, and utilizing technology to increase business income.
